Part One
Cho & Brown Educational Strategists ("we", "us", "our") is an independent educational consultancy registered in the Republic of Korea. Our registered business address is [Full registered address], Seoul. We provide university admissions consulting services focused on institutions in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
We provide personalised advisory and strategic support services to students and their families ("the Client") in connection with overseas university applications. These services may include, but are not limited to:
The specific scope of services provided to each Client will be defined in a separate written service agreement signed by both parties.
University admissions decisions are made solely and exclusively by the universities concerned. We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee — express or implied — that a student will gain admission to any particular university or programme as a result of engaging our services.
Our role is to provide the best possible strategic guidance and application support. Outcomes depend on a wide range of factors outside our control, including but not limited to a student's academic profile, examination results, the competitiveness of the applicant pool, and individual university admissions policies.
Any past results or case studies referenced on this website or in our materials are illustrative only and do not constitute a guarantee of similar outcomes for any other student.
All fees, payment schedules, and cancellation or refund terms are set out in the individual service agreement provided to each Client. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of services at any particular price.
In the absence of a specific written agreement, we reserve the right to invoice for services rendered on a time-and-materials basis at our then-current rates.
We do not receive referral fees, commissions, or any other form of financial consideration from any university, educational institution, or government body in connection with recommendations made to Clients. All guidance provided is independent and in the sole interest of the student.
Where we refer Clients to third-party service providers (for example, IELTS preparation providers), we will disclose the nature of any commercial arrangement with those providers.
All materials, frameworks, documents, written content, and guidance produced by us and provided to a Client remain our intellectual property unless explicitly transferred in writing. Clients may use materials produced for them for the purposes of their own university applications only. Materials may not be shared with, resold to, or reproduced for any third party without our prior written consent.
Personal statements and application documents are written collaboratively with and on behalf of the student. Their use for any purpose other than the intended university application — including submission to other students or third parties — is strictly prohibited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to any Client for any claim arising from or related to our services — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total fees paid by that Client in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of opportunity, regardless of whether such loss was foreseeable.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms and any dispute or claim arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably between the parties shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated directly to active Clients.
